GAE Google_App_Engine simply App Engine, is a platform for developing and hosting web applications in Google-managed data centers. It was first released as a beta version in April 2008. It's cloud computing technology. It virtualizes applications across multiple servers. It's free up to a certain level of used resources. Fees are charged for additional storage, bandwidth, or CPU cycles required by the application.
Project Hosting gives users version control for open source code.
It features several Web applications with similar functionality to traditional office suites, including: Gmail, Google Groups, Google Calendar, Talk, Docs and Sites.
Google Apps is free and offers the same amount of storage as regular Gmail accounts.
