Rob: L'impressione e' che abbia preferito la sua introduzione esplicita, poiche' rende piu' comprensibile la dimostrazione di indipendenza della posizione del centro di massa nel caso di molte particelle.
I fisici successivamente hanno preferito scavalcare il concetto, definendo esplicitamente il centro di massa.
